HASTE video for 'Engine' added to MTV2 Rocks
November 10, 2002Birmingham, Alabama's HASTE has had their video for "Engine" from "When Reason Sleeps" officially added to MTV2 Rocks. The video will make its debut this Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 6:00 p.m. EST. This is a huge accomplishment, as they have become the first Century Media band to ever make it into MTV2 Rocks. Filmed by HASTE vocalist Kelly Reaves it gives a great behind-the-scenes look into the band's life on and off the road.
HASTE have just wrapped up a busy summer that included touring with GLASSJAW, BOYSETSFIRE and CODESEVEN, as well as appearances at Hellfest and a mesmerizing hometown performance at the third annual Furnace Fest. This show saw them perform alongside such highly acclaimed acts as HATEBREED and ANDREW W.K. They capped off the year by having "Engine" added to the MTV "Road Rules" show and soundtrack (released on Roadrunner Records) along with major acts such as AFI, DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL, HOOBASTANK, NEW FOUND GLORY and THE DEFTONES.
HASTE are currently working on new material for their third Century Media release and have 10 songs written, with the finishing touches now being placed on each. There will also be a live webcam in the studio as they record, so the fans can see the whole recording process for themselves. If you can't wait to hear the new material there are two demo tracks, "Revenge Tastes Like Blood" and "Drowning Swimmer", available for download on their web site www.hastemusic.com. Expect a new HASTE release by early spring 2003.
